Safe attachments in your inbox

Die Verbreitung von Verschlüsselungstrojanern und ähnlicher Ransomware erfolgt überwiegend durch infizierte E-Mail-Anhänge. mailident® schützt vor schädlichen E-Mail-Anhängen und gibt nur sichere Anhänge frei. Es ist somit nicht möglich sich versehentlich eine infizierte Datei herunterzuladen. Die Prüfung der Anhänge erfolgt, unter anderem, durch die eigens entwickelte Sender Confirmation Email.

Ransomware is predominantly spread through infected email attachments. mailident® protects you and your company from harmful email attachments and only permits access to safe attachments to your inbox. It is no longer possible to accidently download a harmful attachment. The verification of the attachment is carried out with the Sender Confirmation Email.

Central attachment storage

Wenn Sie eine E-Mail mit einer angehängten Datei erhalten, wird die Datei in Ihrem Postfach gespeichert. Dies führt mit der Zeit dazu, dass ihr Postfach überlastet ist und das E-Mail Programm immer langsamer wird. Bei mailident® werden sämtliche Anhänge zentral gespeichert und nur freigegeben, wenn diese als ungefährlich eingestuft wurden. Sie können die Anhänge jederzeit herunterladen und direkt auf Ihrem Computer ablegen.

Usually when you receive an email the attachment gets saved in your inbox. This behavior gradually leads to an overload of your inbox and a slowdown of your email program. With mailident® all your attachments are centrally saved and only downloadable when they are classified as safe. It is always possible to download those files and save them on your computer.

Filter for suspicious links

mailident® filtert Links bzw. URLs, die Sie per E-Mail erhalten. Auf der Basis einer Sender Confirmation Email werden die Links einer E-Mail gefiltert und unbedenkliche Links freigegeben. Ihr Unternehmen lässt sich dadurch einfach und effektiv vor Phishing schützen und es besteht kein Risiko, dass Sie oder Ihre Mitarbeiter, versehentlich einen Link öffnen der Ihrem Unternehmen schadet.

Mailident filters suspicious links and URLs from the emails you receive. Based on the Sender Confirmation Email mailident® filters those harmful phishing links. Additionally, mailident shows a Pop-up warning with the original URL before you are redirected to the website. Thereby your company is protected from phishing and there is no possibility that an employee accidently opens a dangerous link.

Get information about the sender

Damit Sie immer genau wissen von wem Sie E-Mails erhalten, stellt ihnen mailident® detaillierte Informationen zu den Absendern zu Verfügung. Mit einem Klick können Sie Informationen wie Besitzer der Domain, Standort etc. nachfragen und so die Vertrauenswürdigkeit nochmals eigenständig prüfen. Gleichzeitig gleicht mailident® diese Informationen mit den Informationen der SPF-Datenbank ab und erkennt so Adressfälschungen.

To make your email communication safe mailident® provides detailed information about the sender of an email for you. Within one click you will see the domain owner, location etc. from the person who sent you the email. At the same time mailident compares this information with the information from the SPF-Database and thereby identifies “spoofing”.

Security rating for incoming emails

Every incoming email runs through an analysis of defined parameters, gets categorized and if necessary put under quarantine. These are the defined categories:

Internal administration

Keep your data ownership! There is no need to hand out information to us or anyone else. mailident® can easily be implemented, configured and controlled by one of your employees. Alternatively, we can of course implement and configure mailident® for you.

One-Time-Password

All employees will receive One-Time-Passwords from the administrator in your company. To open a blocked document from the category ‘ok’ employees need to enter a One-Time-Password. As the employees have a restricted number of passwords an employee will think twice before opening the attachment. The date of use as well as the time of use will be documented in the software.

On Premise

Our on premise solution provides instant protection and data sovereignty. With the on premise solution you are able to order mailident® directly and implement it into your operating system. Your data remains on your server. mailident® is available as VMware as well as Hyper-V.

Appliance

With the appliance solution, you receive mailident preinstalled on a hardware component. Simply plug in the hardware device and mailident® ensures direct security. The appliance is a simple plug and play solution.
